Rotterdam Different Views to the Modern Architecture

Rotterdam was heavily destroyed in the Second World War by the Germans.

This gives the opportunity to build a new modern inner city. The result is impressive. Many famous architectures had been involved.

I have had a photo session in the city (old harbor district) also also in the old part of the town Delftshaven.

Most of time I used to take color photos. But as some sceneries seemed better in BW to me. I took my Leica Q2M.

Also I took many photos under low light conditions.

So I will separate the photos in three sections Color, Low Light and  Black and White.

I found also a Webpage that will give you an explanation of some buildings.

So let's start our photo journey with the color photos:

By Johannes Kirchhoff October 11, 2024
Just a few years ago Liege was a declining city. Due to the deindustrialization Liege become a poor city in the rich Belgium. The town is now a financial and commercial spot, the power is back. The inner part of the city has an urban character with many amazing stores and restaurants.
