Valencia a town you must visit

Calatrava Buildings at Valencia
Valencia is a diamond within the Spanish cities. Thats because you will meet here many shiny  facets of a town. It starts with history, continues with art and last but not least the architecture of Santiago Calatrava is a blinking part of the diamond.

Before I start my walk around with diverse photo galleries have a glance at the topics of VALENCIA.

The Street Life of Valencia

The attractions of Valencia are laying close together normally. So you can reach them by using your own feed. Paired with many fantastic street restaurants this is the reason of a very interesting street life. With my photo gallery I will give you some insights (Please Click at one Picture to open the gallery).

Architecture at it's Best

Santiago Calatrava was born in Valencia and has erected many buildings here.  I must say Calatrava is my favorite architect and I was very pleased to get many photos of his builldings in this town.

Here in Valencia Calatrava designed the City of Art and Sciences and also the Opera House. These buildings are located in an old dry river bed.

I was here in the afternoon and in the evening under low light conditions. So I cold catch some remarkable photos in different light situations. Please watch also the details of the architecture. Calatravas design has many references to old styles of architecture and many artistic forms are also integrated in the buildings.

Let you impress by the architecure of Santiago Calatrava:
