Muenster a Cultural Highlight with an impressive Market
Muenster is located in the North West of Nordrhein Westfalen, the biggest federal state of Germany.
Muenster is famous for many things. Here you will find the capital of bike riding in Germany. Also in history for Europe Muenster was important. With the signing of the Peace of Westphalia the Thirty Years War in Germany and the Eighty Years War in the Netherlands endet.
Churches give distinction to the image of Muenster. Let me mention the Dom (totally destroyed during the Second World War) and the St.Lamberts Church.
I was here to join the exhibition of Barbara Hepworth . She created many impressive sculptures and images.
On Market Days (Wednesday and Saturday) you will find a huge offer of flowers and food. I decided to take some photos to give you an idea of the life during this days.
