Exhibition: Mecklenburger Kulturlandschaft 2026

(Cultured Landscape 2026)

The Photographers situated in front of the "Drei Königinnen Palais Schlossinsel Mirow":

Fotografen Kulturlandschaft MV 2026

This year, the weather in January was at its best. Four days of photography in the best sunshine and moderate temperatures. Ten photographers were involved in the workshop in January 2026.

Once again, we were able to immerse ourselves in the many facets of Mecklenburg culture.

We explored the area around the Lärz airfield, were on the frozen Müritz early in the morning, visited the towns of Malchow and Mirow.

This time we also wanted to dedicate ourselves to the topic of the border region and paid a visit to the small town of Freyenstein in Brandenburg. Freyenstein shows us how much historical developments can shape the image of a city.

A highlight of the workshop was the visit to the Agroneum in Alt-Schwerin. The large number of exhibits and buildings illustrate how much agriculture in Mecklenburg is dependent on technological development. On the site it is possible to take a historical ride through the development of agricultural equipment, facilities and professions.

We were also always fascinated by the avenues of the country. At this time of year, the trees take on the shape of sculptures and the row in a line along an avenue is very impressive when viewed from different aspects.

We photographers hope that we have succeeded in giving you interesting impressions of the diversity of Mecklenburg's cultural landscape with our photos.

We hope you enjoy looking at the photos.
